after a feature on steffi s fabric 94 mix cd (and the accompanying dolly deluxe 3 release), late night approach debuts on klakson with a hyper funky electro twelve. the two tracks on the a side both show machine music that s simultaneously human, whether it s the melancholic shards of melody buried under -clarence mews- commanding rhythmic pulsations, or the beautifully striking chords on -luvquest-. however, the b-side takes us to gloomy subterranean pastures with the uptempo banger -primo-, while a2 -kit- crosses over into broken beats but still keeps the same shadowy atmosphere.

mesak drops 4 beautiful melodic crossover tunes. the perfect blend between spheric electro and driving detroit techno, this guy can t do wrong!!!

new school electro wunderkind privacy makes his debut on klakson with a dark four tracker that checks all the right boxes. the ep kicks off with four io, a haunting, spacey dubbed out acid roller with lush pads throughout. u can tell and ncsc are both specimens of the finest ebm tradition, re-interpreting the sound for 2017, while shove on the b2 effortlessly transports us into deep, uptempo aquatic electro territory.

the original klakson funkateers steffi and dexter return to true form with three punchy techno/electro cuts! zatlap on the a side is a lush nighttime driving track with an urgent bassline powering all through the song while spaced out strings develop. the b-sides kopstoot is a pure funk workout in the detroit tradition while de fles builds a stack of airy pads on top of a playful question and answer bass riff to maximum effectiveness!!!

mesak s 3rd twelve inch on dexter s own klakson records. one half of electro duo mr velcro fastener comes back with his solo project mesak. and brings probably his best release to date.. at least it is his most danceable release ever. our favorite is the jacking let get sum bang which rocks every club for sure!! the other tracks are more electrofied techno-ish tracks which reminds us of some classic carl craig work including the outstanding pak track. like all klakson releases this is another hot one. very much what we like!
